Schizophrenia is both a blessing and a curse. It’s surprising what you can learn from people with the illness. It gives me hope seeing someone else fighting the good fight. It’s a daily battle which is not easily won.
Tell your mom that she is most likely brilliant. Our greatest minds have been afflicted with mental illness. Don’t let the love diminish. What you’re doing is powerful. Your mother probably loves you and your brother more than you could know, or she can express.
